We’ve loved everything about being in Florida since we launched in 2017 - getting to know the community, fighting food waste together and partnering with local chefs, businesses and hunger fighting groups throughout the area.
That's why it's so difficult to announce that we'll be closing our Florida market, effective December 31st, 2022.
This has been an incredibly hard decision for us and one we hoped we wouldn’t need to make. The astronomical increases in freight and delivery costs have made it impossible for us to make deliveries in Florida and maintain a sustainable business. This impacted all of our markets, but hit us particularly hard in Miami.
We’ve explored every option to try and avoid ending deliveries, but none of the options were environmentally or financially sustainable. Rather than subject you to significant price increases to make service more viable, we’ve made the hard decision to end deliveries for now while we continue looking for a more sustainable option.
What does this mean for my deliveries?
This means that your last week for deliveries will be December 31st, 2022. After that, we will no longer be delivering in your area.
We will archive your account, so there's no action needed from you to close out your subscription or account.
Will you be back?
Never say never! We would love to continue operating in Florida, however, we can't make any guarantees right now. We will notify you via email should our current subscription service or other services ever be available in your area in the future.
Are there alternative produce delivery services in my area?
We found two options for delivered produce in your area that support great local businesses.
